First, open your iTunes. Then, locate the song from your library in which you want to make it as your ringtone. Listen then to the song and locate the part in which you chose to be your ringtone. After that write down the start and end time of the chosen clip. Then next thing to do is to right click the song, select Get Info and then click the Options tab. Type in the start time of your ringtone in the text box next to Start Time in minutes- seconds format. Then type in the end time to the box that says Stop Time. However this can only cater to 40 seconds long sound clips. Then click OK. Right Click to Convert Selection to AAC and then wait for iTunes to convert your song as a duplicate version. Right click the ringtone then select Delete. Click on the Keep Files button. Next thing to do, find the file, User folder under Music > iTunes > iTunes Music. When you get to that screen, click on Use m4r. double click the tone file. It will automatically added to your ringtones folder by iTunes. Then connect your iPhone to sync in your tones. It’s that easy!
